Growing up in a large extended family in the Northeast, communication was crucial-not only to be heard as a family member but also to get a piece of pie at Thanksgiving. I learned quickly how to work in a large group to accomplish a task or objective as well as how to utilize my work ethic to get ahead of the pack. These characteristics served as the foundation to my highly decorated Olympic and Professional athletic career and helped me develop a profound knowledge in leadership, team building, culture creation, and perseverance. I now use this knowledge in my current roles in business as well as in my facilitation work with organizations, corporations, and teams across the globe.

During my days as a professional athlete, I studied what makes great teams, a great teammate, and how a group of people can exceed their potential. After my time in the pool, I have been part of startups, long standing businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Currently, I serve as Director of Team Services, managing an internal team of advisors in charge of 2,500 local businesses that reach roughly 400,000 customers. Our internal group is remotely positioned across the country to have a better understanding of the local needs, so it is imperative our teams align in our systems, policies, and procedures to be successful. We provide customer service, tools, and business education to empower these businesses to thrive at their highest level. Through my own work, I discovered my passion for helping a team, group, or organization exceed its own goals and expectations.
